This has been a huge week for the Versl team as this past Tuesday we announced our official partnership with DJ Kayotik, one of the premiere DJs in Texas. Today, we return with a second announcement that we believe will assist in elevating the Versl brand to the next level. We have officially added Chad “BC” Newton to the Versl team as Director of Artist/Label Relations & Partnerships. BC has over 25+ years of experience in media, marketing, management, and artist/label relations and will be an immediate asset to our company as an executive.
With a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Friends University in Wichita, KS, Oklahoma native BC began his career securing partnerships with radio outlets across the collegiate, syndicated, mainstream adult contemporary radio spectrum. BC, has managed and promoted over 25 record labels and initiated marketing strategies for various corporate clients in over eight states. His keen development strategies has secured national entertainment programming executions for Def Jam, Sony, Capital/EMI and RCA/Jive. Aside from his radio knowledge, BC has also planned and programmed site logistics for Lil Wayne’s Truk Fit Clothing, Reebok, NBA All-Star/Sprint, and Tyler Perry/Lions Gate.
